How Voice Crowd Works

Voice Crowd is a platform designed to collect high-quality audio recordings from diverse speakers to improve speech recognition technology. By contributing your voice, you're helping to build more accurate and inclusive AI systems.

The process is simple: you read phrases shown on screen, record your voice, and earn points for each contribution. Your recordings are securely stored and used to train machine learning models that power voice assistants, transcription services, and accessibility tools.

The Process

Create an Account
Sign up with your email address to get started. Creating an account allows us to track your contributions and award points.
Step 1
Record Your Voice
You'll be presented with phrases to read aloud. Use your device's microphone to record yourself speaking clearly and naturally.
Step 2
Submit Recordings
After recording, review your audio and submit it to our secure database. Each successful submission earns you points on our leaderboard.
Step 3
Track Your Progress
Visit your profile and the leaderboard to see your contributions, points earned, and how you rank compared to other contributors.

We use Cloudflare SQL to maintain user data, recording metadata, and analytics while ensuring high performance.

Data Privacy & Security

Your privacy is our priority. Here's how we protect your data:

  • All data is stored securely on Cloudflare's infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit
  • Your personal information is kept separate from your voice recordings
  • Recordings are anonymized when used for research and development
  • You maintain control over your recordings and can delete them at any time
  • We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties

Terms of Service

By using Voice Crowd, you agree to the following terms:

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and contribute recordings
  • You agree to provide recordings of your own voice only, not impersonations or computer-generated audio
  • You grant Voice Crowd a non-exclusive license to use your recordings for AI training and improvement
  • Voice Crowd reserves the right to remove inappropriate content or suspend accounts that violate our guidelines
  • Points earned on the platform have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash
